Scientific Findings

Each ingredient of SiWake® has been studied separately and their individual effects have been confirmed in scientific studies.

Collagen – Orthosilicic Acid for Hair Care

A 5-month study researching daily supplementation with 600 mg Collagen-orthosilicic acid found a hair quality improvement for 83% of the participants and a significantly increased hair growth among 37.6%.

The Bioavailability of Collagen – Orthosilicic Acid

Silicic acid that is stabilized with collagen has the highest bioavailability of all the compunds.¹

Collagen – Orthosilicic Acid supplementation improves skin ageing signs. Silicon stimulates collagen synthesis and reinforces collagen tissue structure.²

Take Care of your Hair

There are various reasons why people experience hair loss. Lifestyle choices, genetics or certain medical conditions can all be a cause for our body’s failure to maintain a normal hair growth. Understanding that a combination of factors constantly challenges our hair, helps with developing an effective countermeasure.

Our everyday life constantly creates new challenges for our hair. Extensive styling, UV-exposure, hair-care routines, medical treatments or pollution all pose external factors that attack our hair.

Just like the rest of our body, our hair needs the right nutrients to grow. These need to be included in our diet, but it is also vital that our body is able to effectively deliver them to the hair follicles.

Stress can hamper healthy hair growth by disrupting the hair’s natural growth cycle, leading to hair thinning, shedding, and even premature hair loss. Chronic stress can also affect the balance of hormones essential for maintaining strong and vibrant hair.

A healthy hormonal balance is the cornerstone for full hair. Changes in levels of estrogen or progesterone can negatively affect hair growth or weaken hair follicles. In men, increased levels of DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) can weaken the hair follicles.

Ageing affects the hair growth cycle. Hair follicles may shrink, leading to thinner hair strands, and the active growth phase (anagen phase) shortens, resulting in less hair growth over time. A decreased nutrient absorption and delivery can leave the hair lacking nutrients.

The metabolism plays a crucial role in hair growth by providing the necessary energy and nutrients for healthy hair follicles. A sluggish metabolism can lead to inadequate nutrient delivery to the scalp, resulting in weakened hair, slower growth, and increased hair loss.
